Ed is a senior advisor at Bay Financial Associates, LLC, a comprehensive, independent financial services practice located in Waltham, Massachusetts. Founded in 1951, Bay Financial is one of the oldest and largest financial services firms in the northeast. Through strategic alliances between Bay Financial and National Financial Partners & LPL Financial (the largest independent broker-dealer in the country*), Ed can advise clients on a full complex of financial issues ranging from, Investment Management to Insurance, Wealth Transfer and Charitable Giving, and Executive & Employee Benefits programs. 

Ed attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Ma and graduated from Boston University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration while playing varsity hockey for the BU Terriers.  He later went on to play professional hockey, winning the Stanley Cup in 1993 with the Montreal Canadiens.  Ed’s passion for hockey continues as he coaches several teams, operates a summer skating clinic and co-founded a summer developmental cross-ice hockey league called the NXHL – X Ice Hockey, LLC.

Ed has lived in Franklin, Massachusetts since 1994 with his wife, Leah, and their children, Corey, Aubree and Cassi.  He enjoys spending time with his family in the NH great lakes region and among other activities enjoys, boating, swimming, skiing, and golfing.
