John Roche, Attorney | Real Estate Buying, Selling & Closing
John J. Roche graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1987 and thereafter joined the law firm of Bachner, Roche and Cataldo, where he expanded the residential and commercial conveyancing departments of the firm. He formed the Law Offices of Roche and Murphy in 1991, where he presently serves as the Managing Partner.
Mr. Roche specializes in real estate closings, representing buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate. He provides closing, title, escrow and settlement services to local and all national lenders, banks and mortgage companies. He actively represents buyers and sellers involved in employment relocations and corporate transfers. He is sought out by other attorneys and by mortgage lenders to offer zoning opinions regarding proposed or existing uses of property.
Mr. Roche sponsors seminars for realtor, investor and lender groups on matters ranging from purchase and sale agreement issues, title defects, zoning and land use, Title V septic compliance, real estate trusts, market trends and regulatory changes, as well as estate and probate matters relevant to real estate conveyancing.
Mr. Roche he has served on the Franklin Service Unit of the Salvation Army and on the Hockomock YMCA Board of Directors. He presently serves on the Board of Directors for Franklin Youth Baseball Organization and for Horace Mann Educational Associates, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides housing and day services to developmentally disabled adults. He volunteers as a coach for the Franklin youth baseball and ice hockey programs. He lives in Franklin with his wife Jean and their three children.
